Dota 2 Hype MemeFor everyone else, no matter if you are a Dota 2 beginner or experienced player who wants to watch from home or with friends, the streams of the Dota 2 International 2019 are easy to access and I must say these streams are the best I have ever watched.
The moderation was incredibly well organized, sounding unbelievable professional and even better than real sports tournaments.

The hype and atmosphere is not comparable by any means, for a Dota 2 fan this is like Christmas, birthday and lottery win on the same day! 😉 Let’s make this event the most epic one, the e-sport scene has seen until now! Where will you watch the Ti9? Let us know in the comments. 🙂

Top Moderators and Hosts like Tobiwan, Sheever and Redeye!

Dota 2 made it able to get the best commentators for this live event, they are separated into English, Russian and Chinese commentators. On top of that, if you have a favorite twitch streamer, a lot of these commentate the TI 19 as well!

Options how to watch the Dota 2 International 2019:

    • Live Streams:

The most common way is to choose one of the Twitch or Steam TV live streams. The best and official one is the English main live stream of the Dota 2 International, I will definitely watch this one, the moderators and entertainment level are outstanding. But for Russian and Chinese speakers there is a suitable mainstream. Valve also always organizes a beginner stream, where all of the things that happen are getting explained better, for new players this is a great opportunity that you shouldn’t miss. It’s better to get something explained instead of standing in the dark and losing the motivation of watching further.
Beside the official streams, tons of inofficial Twitch streams of huge influencers can be selected!

    • Buy a TI9 Ticket and Move to Shanghai:

If you consider moving there, check our information for the tickets above, if you get a ticket you can link it to your steam account to profit from it even more!

    • Inside the Dota 2 Client:

Dota 2 Championship EventsYou can watch the pro matches inside the game and even select different casters inside the game, even if you love to watch the streams you should try this out, it’s a great addition, you have full control over the camera, can switch to the official camera or even to player cameras if you have favorite players. Following the player, cameras are also great for learning, how these pro players are behaving and clicking. If you own the Battle Pass you can also predict the matches inside the game to get bonus Battle Points. 😉

    • Pubstomps:

Since Shanghai is quite far away, Valve organised the Barcraft United Pubstomps, which organize player meetups in a lot of cities to help watching the Dota 2 International 2019 in public locations around the globe!

    • Multicast Dota 2 Stream:

The Multicast stream is showing the highlights of a match and players simultaneously. You can open the Dota 2 Multicast stream on Twitch of Steam TV. You could let it open as a second stream beside the mainstream. 😉

Which Teams are the Top Favorites and Underdogs of the International 2019?

TI 19 Group StageIn the Qualifier Group stage for the Dota 2 International 2019 some teams have already shown their power and their will to grab the Aegis of the Immortal!

The top favorites of the TI9 are OG with 14-2, PSG.LGD with 13-3 and Team Secret as well as Vici Gaming with 11-5. The teams with the most fans are definitely Team Secret and OG, there will be a lot of hype for them, but of course also a lot of pressure! 😉

Which teams are the Underdogs in the TI9?
Ninjas in Pyjamas and Chaos Esports Club got eliminated in the group stage. Now Team Liquid, Keen Gaming, NaVi and RN are definitely the teams with the lowest chances to get far. We can only wish that they try to get some match points because in this tournament every single win counts a lot to get more money at the end. On top of this page, you can find a complete list, who much e-sport earnings each player and each team gets for which tournament position!

Story of the Dota 2 International Events:

The first Dota 2 International has been in 2011, this a long time ago, that means the TI9 is the 9th International that we can enjoy and it is, of course, the one with the biggest prize pool ever in e-sport history.
It is the flagship of Dota 2 and the e-sport scene, whenever the International is taking place the world is speaking about it. Even normal news channels talk about it and mention the incredible prize pool which makes single professional gamers to millionaires overnight like it did before for Kuroky the richest e-sport player and Sumail the youngest Dota 2 e-sport millionaire in history.
